About Me

Glad you stopped by. I love blogging and I find it relaxing.
I love my Jesus. I gave him my heart and life. To think He loved me while I was yet a sinner. He gives me power to live a sinless life. I am married to my high school sweetheart. I have 2 grown children and 13 grandchildren. I have a job that I love working with other
Christians. My husband is a pastor. We have had the opportunity to meet and have many friends. God has been both my husband and my healer. I enjoy making new friends and would love to hear to hear from you! To God be the glory!!!!

Thankful Thursday: Small but loud

So as you know, I have been kinda stuck in my house.
No work... no church... just sick. One morning this last weekend, I was passing by the living room windows to sit down.  I heard this very loud yippy dog.  Now I know there is alot of people that have small dogs and love them.  But for me, give me a large dog. There are so many out there to choose from.  These little dogs are usually loud barkers. They are are kinda funny when they have a stand off with a dog many times their size. They are so serious about their ability.

I opened my door and the dog  which was no bigger than my ankle came toward me.  I tried to be a good neighbor and be friendly.  He just roared all the louder, doing a kinda two step dance.  I just stood still, looking at him. I was wondering what I should do.  I was in no condition to chase down his owner. Than He stopped.  Took another look at me, one more bark,as if to say" And don't come out again" and marched off.

But the Lord had a reminder for me.  The devil comes knocking and he sounds scary and he wants you to think there is nothing you can do about it. But he is just a lot of hot air. Just keep that door closed, don't be neighborly or friendly.  That is all he needs and than he bites. Nope, flee from him. Anything He has to say is lies.  Anything our Jesus has to say are promises and he keeps them.  Makes him your friend. Ask him to forgive your sins and come into your heart.

Your life will really begin.
