Enjoying having messy fun

I never realized how much

official date-May 14

Friday was my last day as a teacher assistant.  Next week,I shadow the currant teacher.   I Am so excited! Friday was strange, teaching the person replacing my job.

Last Friday after I got the official word. I was in grocery store.I hear a little voice say ' Hi,miss Paula"  my heart got so excited to hear that and see one of my students!

It's been about two weeks since I started this entry,can you tell it's been busy?

I love what I am doing. Learning different ways to encourage my kiddos to learn,play and discover.  I have personally discovered I love sensory learning. The messier the better.  I love seeing their eyes light up with enjoyment.  Using as many of our senses ,to learn and give fun. Messy is good. It's all about making memories.

Life can quickly move along but if we can enjoy the journey from start to finish. It's about having fun and learning in the simple ways

About four months ago

Just give me Jesus

Just a quick pop in.  I have so totally missed Oregon rain while I lived in the Midwest. There's nothing like it.  I adore it.  One of my favorite things of God's creation. I woke up, to hearing the rain coming down.  Yes, this means the kids won't be able to play outside.  I shall have to use my imagination. But for now,I still sit and listen to my favorite music: Give me Jesus.  I will l hear the reason come down.  I will have my worship as I drink my coffee. Thank you Lord fur such a nice day.

The very bad horrible flu has come to put house

John was sick with a cold.  Nothing horrible serous. In a few short hours, he became very sick with serious virus. We were going to Portland for special meeting. He kept thinking he would get better
 I came home from work and it was obvious, we were staying home. The fever broke Last night. He is weak as a kitten.  Coughing still but at least able to breathe. He really is doing better but outs gonna be a long recovery.  Sleeps alot which is good. Me....? I seen to be as healthy as a horse.  I am surrounded by flu victims. God is good that I can say.

How exciting is this.

 Because I had nothing better to do.  I just found a app, that enables me to blog on my phone. I just may not be in mia.
Just a few updates.  I am a great grandma. I figure I have earned my grey hair.  I work at a job I love , at a Christian child care center.  The Lord has been so good to us. If this app works, you may just hear more from me

My medical week

I will go down saying  I don't like the doc, dentist and urgent care.  Just saying.
I am the kid my parents dragged me to the various opportunities.

They make you wait forever to get your your referral and appointment.  Then wait for ever after after you get to his office.  This is after you spend time filling out a ton of paper work.  Hope it was not a emergency.... your dead now.

Monday, I spent 3 hours in the dentist chair having work done that was planned plus work that was not planned.  Went from there to work. Not quite being the person I was when I woke up.  Saying nothing of the back and neck injury that was not comfortable in thus stated chair.

Tues I get to go to urgent care for another follow up from my work accident.  Which seems crazy. I had one chiro and massage with my own dr. but its not on the approved list. so I have to get a new referrel.  Three months later I finally get scheduled. So only thing I can tell dr today is its worse, should have stayed with my own doctor!

Tomorrow I get to spend two hours with a chiro and massage person I don't know. Great.

So this is how my mornings before I go to work go.

I truly love my Jesus who is the great physician. No busy tones when I call, no long lines to get in. He is there 24/7.  I have proved him.

Looking forward to my week end.  Do you wonder?????

I have a teen ager in my house

Yes... at 60 years of age, I know have a teenager in my house.
She is a drama queen.  If I don't do things in the morning fast enough, she goes crazy.

She only likes certain food. She will not eat it if its not to her liking.  Maybe she is trying to keep a youthful look.

She steals my hair ties.. Does she use them ?  She is satisfied to keep them away from me.

I think she has a boy friend. She tries to tear the curtains to get them open. Looking to see if he is waiting for her....... I am not sure.  When I open her door, she lunges to get out there. She does not liking coming in at night. She is gonna get in trouble if I don't keep a tight rein on her.

She expects me to clean her bathroom.  Honestly.... she is so lazy.
She wants fresh water every day. Turns her nose up till she sees I have replaced it.  I am surprised she doesn't expect filtered bottle water.

I love my drama queen.  She makes me laugh and causes me to relax. She has been a wonderful addition to our house
