About Me

Glad you stopped by. I love blogging and I find it relaxing.
I love my Jesus. I gave him my heart and life. To think He loved me while I was yet a sinner. He gives me power to live a sinless life. I am married to my high school sweetheart. I have 2 grown children and 13 grandchildren. I have a job that I love working with other
Christians. My husband is a pastor. We have had the opportunity to meet and have many friends. God has been both my husband and my healer. I enjoy making new friends and would love to hear to hear from you! To God be the glory!!!!

Looking Back: Being crazy with my daughter

Living back in the mid west,
I looked forward to coming home and visiting my daughter. Enjoyed getting ready for camp meeting with her.  Add grand daughters to the mix, we have a great fun.

One day, my daughter and I had many errands to get done. We pulled up to the drive thru banking, she reached out and got the plastic tube to put my transaction in. We were talking. Not really pay attention to what was going on. We sent the tube back. The clerk sent it back to me., with my receipts and cash back. We pulled out and continue down the road. I looked down and I said” Heidi, We forgot to give them back the tube!”
She whips around the corner. As we get closer to the bank, there is a long line of cars waiting to get service. My daughter jumps out of the car and grabs the tube and goes running to the beginning of the car line. She taps on the window, explains that her mom forgot to give the tube back. When she gets back to her car, she told me the funny thing was, the lady inside the bank was waiting for the tube to be sent to her and the person in the car was waiting for the bank to send her the tube. Neither of them knew there was a problem! All those people there. They did not know there was a problem.

I still look back on that and chuckle.  But really it also reminded me,people can have a problem and not even know it. People go thru their day.  They have their schedules. They have thier deadlines. They read the news or hear the news every day.  But they don't take seriously the dead line that is coming up.. The Son of God is coming back very soon.  We don't know exactly when it will happen. But it will.  We want to be ready.  We want to know are sins are forgiven. We want to live each moment for our heavenly father, knowing we will meet that deadline.
