About Me

Glad you stopped by. I love blogging and I find it relaxing.
I love my Jesus. I gave him my heart and life. To think He loved me while I was yet a sinner. He gives me power to live a sinless life. I am married to my high school sweetheart. I have 2 grown children and 13 grandchildren. I have a job that I love working with other
Christians. My husband is a pastor. We have had the opportunity to meet and have many friends. God has been both my husband and my healer. I enjoy making new friends and would love to hear to hear from you! To God be the glory!!!!

Looking Back: Women Retreat

When I knew we were moving,
I knew I would miss working with Brother Eddie for a week during Mid West Camp.  Such wonderful Memories.

The second event I would miss would be the Women's Retreat.  Sister Karen had found a lovely house for us to rent with the river flowing next to it.  So relaxing to go out on the deck with your morning cup of coffee and remember the blessing of our Lord.  Enjoyed the Fellowship, and singing. The devotions led by different ones there. Enjoying the different meals shared by all. And the snacks,we all brought.  I will never forget the baked goodies Sister Susan Lee would bring.  Sharing our hearts and praying together. Staying up late playing games and talking.  I love all of you ladies and your not far from my heart come September.

The other day, some one here in Grants Pass called and asked me if we were snowed in.( they had been further out of town than us)  I told i wasn't even sure it was snowing,  I had to chuckle... Surely they don't think we will get in a panic.  Well truth be told. It is different here. Not dry snow and people don't know how to drive in snow.   I do miss our dry snow of Wisconsin.  The -15 degrees.  Truly, I am a cold weather person.  But I do enjoy my bulbs coming up in February.  I love living so close to the ocean.  I had  so longed for it.
