I just lately heard; Pray for those,who have no one that prays for them.
I really thought on this for a while. Believe it or not. there those that no one prays for.
Maybe they are so far up in age,all their loved ones have already passed on. Maybe that homeless person. That person who is just simply looking for that next fix or drink. That person struggling to make ends meet. Its all they can think about. Or the person aiming to go up the corporate ladder. Maybe that lonely person passing you on the street.
We see them everyday. At work, school,shopping..... Its easy to get lost in our own little world. Things that need to be done. I know, I can get tunnel vision. My mental list, I check off what I got done on the to do list for the day.
I need to remind myself to pay attention to those around me. Every person has a story to tell. We all have a beginning. Things in life have shaped us. I, now make a point of noticing the name tag on my clerk and greeting them by name. Something about being greeted by your name opens doors. Maybe just a smile at that person your passing. It may be the only smile they get that day. Taking time to listen to that elderly person, who feels forgotten and lost.
When we stop and think about it,we will remember something. Jesus took time. He must needs go... He must needs cross over... He must needs be about his father's business.
Can we do any less, than share the good news. Jesus took time to reach and save us. We need to reach out to those who need help.Help in finding the help they need...Jesus Christ.
