Today we had such a wonderful morning service. Our music focused on being thankful. It set the tone for the meeting as all of us lifted our voices in praise and thanksgiving to our heavenly Lord. We enjoyed hearing Brother Storey's testimony. Truly the Lord made a change in his life. The beauty is,as he pointed out.... That Jesus can still do that today for the hungry soul. We were blessed to hear Sister Karen preach on God answering prayer and hearing our prayer. Thanking Jesus that He heard us when we pray. This was followed by alter call.
Our noses had been smelling the wonderful food cooking since before Sunday School. The rooms had been beautiful decorated and it was not hard to find our way to eating, We had a really nice turn out and many parents and young people from our Sunday School. The food was delicious but even better was the fun and fellowship of everyone there.
A big thank you to all those who worked so hard;fixing food,decorating,serving and clean up. Listening to the jokes and laughter. Taking time to pray for those we had been in contact with. Praying for Journey to Bethlehem coming up next month that souls will be reached for the Lord.
