I have so much to be thankful for and its all because of Calvary. Its about a old rugged cross. Its about a grandma teaching me about Jesus. Teaching me that Jesus loved me. Its about God healing me of MS and healing my sin sick heart.
This time of the year is my very favorite time. To focus on what Jesus did for me and is doing for me and will continue to do for me. To think that He loved me while I was still a sinner and enjoyed being a sinner. Well If I didn't count those times I felt very friendless. and was hurting. Those times when I had a heart full of anger and a temper to match.
While all the time the Lord just kept reminding me that He loved me. You see, that little grandma put such a hunger in my heart to find this Jesus. Even when I thought I was enjoying myself there was this empty spot in my heart. That empty spot kept me coming back to church and Sunday School. I knew the people there had what my grandma had.
I am so thankful for the day, I knelt and asked Jesus to come into my heart and forgive me for my sins. If I could have that peace my grandma and the people at church have. In a moment of time, that peace flooded my soul. It continues to flood my soul.
In a few days, we in Grants Pass will have just finished celebrating the church;s 75 anniversary. I am so what this church stands for and it has stood the test of time. Sure people have come and gone. Time moves on. But I love hearing the testimonies of the saints and knowing God has not changed!

75th anniversary of our church in Grants Pass
I have been missing in action lately. We just has our 75th anniversary of our Grants Pass church. We had such a blessed time. We had a different speaker for each meeting, chartered a bus to the Golden church in Golden. Many of our saints found the Lord and his redeeming blood there. For many years, groups of saints would drive out to that old mining town to hold meetings. We had a wonderful turn out with meetings Friday night, Saturday prayer meeting and breakfast, trip to Golden and picnic lunch after enjoying the inside of the old church and singing and sharing memories. We had meeting Saturday night and Sunday School and morning and evening service. It was like having camp meeting in one weekend. Hope you enjoy Saturdays Pictures!
