About Me

Glad you stopped by. I love blogging and I find it relaxing.
I love my Jesus. I gave him my heart and life. To think He loved me while I was yet a sinner. He gives me power to live a sinless life. I am married to my high school sweetheart. I have 2 grown children and 13 grandchildren. I have a job that I love working with other
Christians. My husband is a pastor. We have had the opportunity to meet and have many friends. God has been both my husband and my healer. I enjoy making new friends and would love to hear to hear from you! To God be the glory!!!!

Christmas day #3

This is a really new and fun tradition. I told everyone it was pajama day. My oh so smart son said " what mom? I was coming in black jacket and tie"
Needless to say. everyone enjoyed just hanging out and being lazy.

Papa(John) start another new tradition.  For Christmas; we gave along with their gift, a can of silly string. The war began in the yard after presents were opened. The weather was like nothing we had ever seen in Wisconsin. Nice and sunny and short sleeve weather for sure!

Christmas day fun #2

Again, we were mixing old and new traditions this year. My mother in law had changed her menu on Christmas eve from oyster and clam soup to a wonderful pork and turkey soup. We told her that was a good tradition to keep.

I told my kids for Christmas day, I was not going to do the traditional sit down turkey  and ham dinner. Rather I was putting a spiral ham in the crock pot and  we were going to have it buffet and serve yourself when you felt hungry. We went for nice sturdy disposable flatware, plates and cups, pretty napkins. Everyone added to the menu with mashed potatoes and gravy, rolls and fruit and yummy desserts and candies.

We wanted to be able to enjoy the Lord and each other. Playing new games. reading new books, building new lego projects. Making plans for a winter hike this week( John and son)
