so many reasons

Well life can turn out alot different than what you thought the day would bring.  My husband and I have been looking for a long time for a  affordable topper for our truck.  We wanted something that we could just take off on friday after work and come back saturday.  Just to get away for a few hours of R &R.  Already we have enjoyed it. First friday, we found a smalll campground and enjoyed the camp fire , looking across the lake.  Did have a rain storm come thru while we slept cozy in our truck.  A lot of wind the next day.  But we were so happy.

So our friends invited us to camp with them where they have a  nice campground set up.  Didn't cost us anything.  That was merely assumpation.  My husband was bit by a tick and we ended up in urgent care having the bulls eye rash looked at.  After paying for that medical advice and paying for the medcine to prevent the tick from winning the battle.........the camping trip was not free and we are poorer for it.

Has the abiding joy left me?  No, rather I sit here counting my blessings.  Thank you Jesus for your providing hand.  I sit here listening to Matt Redman singing "10,000 reasons"  I am thinking I have more than 10,000 reasons to love my sweet Jesus.
