Looking Back- A Day In The Country

I will be the first to admit.....
I am a country girl.  All my life I have  lived out of city limits, in the country. Or I have lived in small towns. either way there is a different mind set than those that life in high rise cities. Please don't misunderstand me.  Both has its place in society.  We need the cities for what it offers us.  Jobs, business, bigger selection of products. Things to do and places to visit.  I take advantage of the ease of all the above. The country offers farming, which is needed.  Fresh air, places to hike, ride bikes and atvs.  Country living offers a slower pace and time around the fire and camping. People seem friendlier .  Takes a bit longer in bigger cities. Unless your down south like we were in Fort Smith Arkansas.  In a short time, you can become honey and sweetheart to the  grocery clerk.  When we moved to Richland Center Wisconsin,it was a much smaller town.  We would go for rides is the country and farmland and it was so very relaxing.  I have enjoyed doing tourist stuff in bigger cities but I still love being able to go back to where "if you don't remember what you were doing, somebody will tell you!"
